How do I wash my cloth diapers?

One cold cycle without detergent

One hot cycle with detergent (let diapers soak for 30-60 mins)

One warm cycle without detergent *

* You can do more than two washes and wash until you see that the soap suds are all gone. You may also want to do this, if you are worried or suspect your cloth diapers have build up.

How often do I have to wash my cloth diapers?

You will have to make a wash routine for your cloth diapers. Regardless of how many diapers you have, you do not want to go pass 3 days before washing your cloth diapers. So the options really are wash every day, wash every other day, wash every 2 days or wash every 3 days. To see a sample cloth diaper wash schedule, look at mine below.

With 1 child in cloth, 3x a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

With 2 in cloth, 4x a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
