Find out from your doctor if having Endometriosis or any pre-existing health conditions classify you as high risk during pregnancy. I have been pregnant twice, I see a regular Obstetrician and I have a gynecologist who is specialized in laser surgery who removed and diagnosed my Endometriosis. I never had to be sent to a Re (specialist) for Endometriosis and never had any complications during my pregnancies. I also was not considered high risk by my Obstetrician. It also depends on what doctor you have, because some women with Endometriosis are classified high risk and do have complications during their pregnancies. More studies are being done to link pre-term labor, pre-eclampsia and women who have Endometriosis together.
