Buying Cloth Diapers

Buying Cloth Diapers and Accessories

Do I have to buy cloth diapers and accessories online?
Not all cloth diapering products have to be purchased online.  However, online has more of a variety than what is carried locally in stores. And some cloth diapering products you want. may only be sold online at this point in time.

Where can I buy cloth diapers offline?
You can buy cloth diapers in a few well known local stores, any local cloth diaper shops in or near your location (You will have to do a search to see if there are any) and sometimes at consignment stores. Local stores that now sell cloth diapering products are Target and Wal-Mart. Some Target stores carry one size Charlie Banana pocket cloth diapers. Some Wal-Mart stores carry Gerber pre-folds.

Where can I buy cloth diapers online?
There are numerous of cloth diaper shops online. More than what is even listed in my blog and I try to add as many great shops as I can. Some stores you might be familiar with are Target.com, Wal-Mart.com and Amazon.com. They are offering more and more cloth diapering products online each year. All 3 stores offer products, such as g Diapers cloth diapers and g Diapers snap in liners.  Thirsties diaper covers and Gerber prefolds. Wal-Mart.com is now even offering Kissaluvs pre-fitted cloth diapers, as well as Bumkins AIO (All in one) cloth diapers. Another store would be E-bay.com, some cloth diapers and diapering products you can bid on and others have the option to buy it now. This can be a great place to look for gently used or brand new cloth diapers for a lower price as well or to find people selling lots (more than 1 item) of cloth diapers or cloth diapering products. I once bought lot of 6 newborn AIO (all in one) cloth diapers for $30.95 only! If you divide the price by 6 diapers, its like buying each diaper a little over $5.15 each.

Do I need to buy cloth diapers in multiple sizes?
This is a personal preference and depends on the sizes the cloth diaper style you are interested in offers. Some cloth diapers that come in different sizes are fitted, covers, all in ones and hybrid diapers, such as the g Diapers. This can be a disadvantage if you have a large baby or a baby that gains weight quickly. That is just one of those things you can’t really prepare for, because you never know for sure how much your baby will weigh at birth or how fast or slow they will gain weight after when buying cloth diapers before baby's arrival  My first child gained weight slower and my second faster. With my second, he outgrew his newborn size cloth diapers after two weeks. So that would be a caution to parents who are debating on getting cloth diapers that require you to buy multiple sizes, such as newborn, small, medium and large. For some parents, they like having cloth diapers separated in several different sizes, for a few different reasons. They are more similar to disposables which come in a variety of sizes, newborn, sizes 1-5 and pull ups. Since cloth diapers can take up a lot of space (sometimes extending pass the storage a changing table offers), parents can put away one size when they are done and take out another if they don't want all their cloth diapers stored at one time or sell the smaller sizes once  their child is done using them. For other parents this can feel like you're growing your cloth diaper stash to keep up with your child, so one size cloth diapers that grow with your child maybe more ideal. An advantage to have cloth diapers in different sizes is the one sizes do not always have a good fit for pre-mature infants, newborns and babies that might be really skinny until they are bigger in size.

Clear Blue Plus Pregnancy Test  with Blue Dye (+ / - ) This is what a negative looks like: Side Note: Blue dyes are often said to more frequently give false positives than pink dye. Some online boards that will tweak (alter) a pregnancy test photo to help individuals identify if the test is a faint positive or indeed negative, often will not do blue dyes.

Frida Mom for Post Laparoscopy Care

My Frida Mom Basket for Post-Laparoscopy Care. Why I Love the Frida Mom Line (Even Beyond Motherhood) One of the things I’ve really come to appreciate is how versatile the Frida Mom line is—not just for new moms, but for anyone recovering from abdominal surgeries, such as laparoscopies for endometriosis. After surgery, comfort and gentle care are everything. That’s where the C-section recovery underwear comes in. Even if you haven’t had a baby, the design makes sense—when you have incisions on your abdomen, you need something soft, high-waisted, and non-restrictive. These disposable underwears are a lifesaver compared to standard disposable Depends. The big difference? You can build your own pad system . Start with the underwear. Add a menstrual pad. Layer on a witch hazel perineal liner, perineal cream, or both. Attach an optional heating pad for cramping. It’s completely customizable depending on what your body needs that day. I also want to mention the liners pack...

My Laparoscopy Recovery Essentials: What’s Actually Helping Me Heal

Disclaimer: Links to all the products I mentioned are included. I am not being paid to promote any of them and do not receive payments. Skin sensitivity may impact your experiences with these products. Recovering from my laparoscopy has been a journey, and honestly, some days are more uncomfortable than others. Over the past week, I’ve found a few products that have made a huge difference in how I feel—both physically and mentally. Here’s what’s been helping me get through it: 1. Body Wash That Feels Safe Before and after surgery, I wanted something gentle that still felt clean. I’ve been using Dove Antibacterial Body Wash , and it’s been perfect. It keeps the incision area clean without stinging or irritating my skin, which is such a relief.  2. Underwear That Actually Works I never thought I’d get excited about disposable underwear, but Frida Mom Disposable C-Section Underwear has been a game-changer. They’re soft, supportive, and don’t press on my stomach—exactly what ...
