I have a few non cloth diapering mommy friends that wanted to know more about why I switched to cloth diapers. Join me as I blog about my adventures of cloth diapering. I did not want to overload them with so much information at once. Thus my idea of making a cloth diaper blog was formed. I am not being paid to feature or promote any products. Everything written is my honest opinions and my personal experiences using them.
This blog contains my personal experiences and opinions. However, I am not responsible for any decisions made with the following information provided in this blog. Always use your best judgment before following any advice given when it comes to your family and yourself.
I am a married stay at home mom. I used disposable diapers for the first 14 months of my first child's life before switching to cloth diapers. I was introduced to cloth diapers, when I saw a link on a mommy friend's Face Book that promoted the benefits of using cloth diapers. At the time, I was not aware of how popular cloth diapers were becoming, because I never gave much thought to them. To be honest, I did not know they still really existed in the United States or that anyone would want to use them when there is the convenience of disposable diapers and wipes. I imagined the only women who used cloth diapers were poor mothers in third world countries who use for both economical and cultural reasons. I suppose I envisioned them to be a thing of the past, something only women in the olden days would use. Nothing a modern mother would use today. I decided to do my own research and find out why some women would consider using cloth diapers. I was amazed by the News video clip I had found. The facts about disposable diapers and the amount of money spent was astounding. I was impressed by how easy and cute the cloth diapers appeared to be. It was then I decided to take the cloth diaper challenge and haven't looked back since.
