That’s the purpose of cloth diapers, for them to be reused. You put them on like a disposable diaper and toss them into your diaper pail when used. Except you don’t throw it away when your pail is full. It gets washed in the washer and dried on a drying rack or in a dryer. Then used again.
· Cloth Diapers can sometimes be sold after you are done using them .
If you take good care of your cloth diapers, you can sell your used cloth diapers when you’re done with them. You can list them as like new or in good condition to others looking to buy cloth diapers at discount prices and/or sets of cloth diapers on FaceBook online sale groups, E-bay, your online classifieds and to other moms who cloth diaper locally. Sometimes local consignment stores will accept them. It's possible to get what you paid for your cloth diapers if they are in pristine condition. Even if they aren't in "New" or "Like New" condition, it is possible to get some of the money back you paid on your cloth diapers and cloth diapering accessories.
· Cloth Diapers do not contain harsh chemicals, better for baby’s skin .
The best thing about cloth diapers is you control what you wash them with. What cloth wipes and cloth wipes solution you use. You are in control of what touches your baby’s skin.
· Cloth Diapers can be used on multiple children.
I was first introduced to cloth diapers when my first child was 14 months old. My second baby was born when she was 34 months old. She was still somewhat using cloth diapers at the time. I had two in cloth diapers for a while. Then when she was around 40 months or so, we took the cloth diapers away for pull ups and training panties. My second child used cloth diapers successfully for about three years. I’ve had some that I have had to throw away because they were torn/worn out, but the majority held up fine through two children. (Updated: I used my cloth diapers through three children). If you have sewing abilities, you maybe able to repair cloth diapers that are becoming worn.
