Here is what my cycle menu set up looks like so far:
My Weekly Menus with shopping list on the side
Each Weekly Menu sheet plans 7 meals. I use 2 Weekly Menus sheets to plan 14 meals for 1 week, 7 meals for lunch and 7 meals for dinner. I generally plan 2 weeks at a time, to make my monthly board. See below for more information.
I have several weekly sheets, that are numbered 1, 2, 3 and so forth. Having several different pages of 7 meals gives me the opportunity to mix and match the pages for 14 different meals in a week. For example, to make 1 meal worth of meals, I may do page 1 and 2 for my 14 meals. The following week, I may use page 3 and 4, followed by page 1 and 3 the next week, and so forth.
My dry erase board with my month of meals
To make my monthly board, I plan 28 meals (14 meals for lunch, 14 meals for dinner) for 2 weeks instead of 14 meals for 1 week (7 meals for lunch, 7 meals for dinner). Next I split 14 meals to be for week 1 and week 3. The other 14 meals, are for week 2 and 4. So I repeat each of my 14 meals twice. Then the next month I pick 28 different meals.
