Create A Nursery




Create a nursery or a baby area in your home.
A list of basic items you may need.


1. Basic Nursery Items 
  • Bassinet, Pack n Play, Co-Sleeper or Crib (Some may not need if they are bed-sharing)
  • Changing Table (Alternatives: change on bed/floor or add changing pad to a dresser)
  • Baby Swing (Some feel this is unnecessary, depends on if your baby likes it)
  • Dresser (for baby clothes/accessories, this may not be necessary if you have closet space)
  • Closet Space or Armoire (for baby clothes/accessories)
  • Diaper Pail or Trash Can

2. Basic Baby Supplies
  • Disposable or Cloth Diapers
  • Disposable or Cloth Wipes
  • Diaper Rash Creams
  • Baby Lotions
  • Wipe Solution  or Water in a spray bottle (If cloth diapering)


3. Basic Mommy items you may need:
  • Glider or Rocker (For feeding, holding, or reading to baby)
  • Side Table (Optional. Store items needed to make feeding baby comfortable)
  • Nursing Pillow (A mommy item to  make feeding baby comfortable. )
  • Nursing Covers (Optional. 1 for the diaper bag, 1 for home at least, if using them) 
  • Nursing Cover Storage (Optional. For storage ideas, click here)
