Baby Bath Tubs I Don't Love

I'm a mama that has tried lots of baby products, including baby bath tubs. Here are some tubs that I tried and used with my children but did not love. I felt like they were okay products, but upgraded when something better came along and I had the means to afford it. I am also going to include reasons I didn't care for it and things I did like, that may help you decide whether or not it's a product you want to buy or register for.

1. Munchkin White Hot Inflatable Duck Tub
I received this as a baby gift with my first child and I thought this was a cute gift. This was not a bathtub I used right away. I waited until my first child was older. She was at least 12 months if not older when we decided to use it. In the description on the Amazon link, the tub advertises that it is ideal for children 6 months-24 months of age. This leads me to one of the cons, it's not a tub that will work until your baby is at least 6 months of age. That means you have to either find another way to bathe your baby and / or baby bathtub to bath your baby in for the first 6 months. The next thing is the tub is inflatable. The pro is when it is not in use, it's compact and easy to store. A tub that is great for travel. It would not take a lot of room in a suitcase. However, I am not going to inflate and deflate every day, that is not convenient. If you don't deflate, you have this big tub that you to have to find a place to store. We mostly left ours inflated and in our bath tub. I am also the worst person to inflate baby / kid products by mouth. For someone like me, once it's inflated, I am not deflating unless I have a specific reason to. The biggest reason this product did not work out was my first child did not like it. She was terrified of the duck.

2. Summer Infant Mother's Touch Deluxe Baby Bather
This comes in 2 colors, one blue and one in pink. Very gender specific. I had the pink one. I thought it was so cute for a little girl. It folds flat, so it can easily be stored in a cabinet. I also feel like you could pack it in a suitcase and travel. The new one has 3 recline positions. The Amazon description says it can be used in a sink or adult bath tub. My con was that I felt you wouldn't want to fill up a sink or bathtub with a baby in this product to keep baby warm. With there being no warm water around the baby, I feel a baby would be cold. To avoid this, you would probably want to wrap baby around with a blanket or towel to keep them warm and just wash one part of the body at a time. This would work fine during the stages of when your baby still has the umbilical cord or newborn. So it had some good things about it, but not enough to make me love the product. If you want to, there

3. Safety 1st Foldable Travel Bath Tub (Discontinued by manufacturer)
Lastly, I have added this although it has been discontinued. Sometimes these discontinued items can be found at consignment stores. This was one of the first baby bath tubs I bought for my first child. It has a drain and an arched design so baby is not laying flat. The top and bottom piece fold in half. The pro is that it folds to take up less space when storing. That leads me to the cons, the truth it's not hundred percent a space saver. It doesn't come with a sling or cradle, so I had to buy one separately until my baby could sit up unassisted.  I also felt like this tub worked well up to 6 months of age. Maybe it can work up to 12 months of age, but it did not feel like it could work well up to 24 months. It worked for its purpose, but I much prefer the newer styles of baby bath tubs being created.

Frida Mom for Post Laparoscopy Care

My Frida Mom Basket for Post-Laparoscopy Care. Why I Love the Frida Mom Line (Even Beyond Motherhood) One of the things I’ve really come to appreciate is how versatile the Frida Mom line is—not just for new moms, but for anyone recovering from abdominal surgeries, such as laparoscopies for endometriosis. After surgery, comfort and gentle care are everything. That’s where the C-section recovery underwear comes in. Even if you haven’t had a baby, the design makes sense—when you have incisions on your abdomen, you need something soft, high-waisted, and non-restrictive. These disposable underwears are a lifesaver compared to standard disposable Depends. The big difference? You can build your own pad system . Start with the underwear. Add a menstrual pad. Layer on a witch hazel perineal liner, perineal cream, or both. Attach an optional heating pad for cramping. It’s completely customizable depending on what your body needs that day. I also want to mention the liners pack...

My Laparoscopy Recovery Essentials: What’s Actually Helping Me Heal

Disclaimer: Links to all the products I mentioned are included. I am not being paid to promote any of them and do not receive payments. Skin sensitivity may impact your experiences with these products. Recovering from my laparoscopy has been a journey, and honestly, some days are more uncomfortable than others. Over the past week, I’ve found a few products that have made a huge difference in how I feel—both physically and mentally. Here’s what’s been helping me get through it: 1. Body Wash That Feels Safe Before and after surgery, I wanted something gentle that still felt clean. I’ve been using Dove Antibacterial Body Wash , and it’s been perfect. It keeps the incision area clean without stinging or irritating my skin, which is such a relief.  2. Underwear That Actually Works I never thought I’d get excited about disposable underwear, but Frida Mom Disposable C-Section Underwear has been a game-changer. They’re soft, supportive, and don’t press on my stomach—exactly what ...
