In the beginning of pregnancy, being pregnant for 37-42 weeks seems like a really long time. But before you know, you're 12 weeks pregnant, then you're 20 weeks and half way there and finally you hit the last 6-12 weeks of pregnancy and all of a sudden time seems to be flying. You start thinking of everything that needs to be done in preparation for baby's birth, and for the first 6 weeks after delivery. Here are some postpartum ideas you may want to try.

3) Put together a breastfeeding area(s)
Baby Nursery
In my baby nursery, I have a nursing chair and nursing table. My nursing table has two drawers. Inside the first drawer, I keep breastfeeding related things, such as nipple cream, nursing necklace. The second drawer, I keep my snacks. Below the nursing table is a wire basket with burp cloths. Next to my nursing chair is a black bag that has my breast pump. In the storage ottoman, I have my boppy nursing pillow.
Bedside Table
I also have some snacks in my bedside table drawer for when I am nursing at night. The master is on a different level from the other bedrooms, so I will not be traveling at night to go nurse in my nursing chair.
4) Stock Up on Paper Plates & Plastic Utensils
I decided since I am welcoming my 3rd child and this is going to be a new adjustment, more children and one mom I need to find ways to make life easier as I am recovering from delivery. One way I thought this could make things easier is to have paper plates and plastic utensils for the first few days / weeks. I don't want to be worried about dishes piling up.
