Buying An Ergo Baby Carrier

How Do You Feel About Your Ergo?
I love my Ergo and to me it feels like a pretty supportive carrier.

How Long Did You Use Your Ergo?
I used mine from the time my second was 4 months old until my third pregnancy when he was 21.5 months.

Where Can I Buy An Ergo Baby Carrier?
Target sells them. Mine came from Amazon for like $115-116 on sale.

Where Did You Wear Your Ergo?
I used my Ergo a lot for outings, such as park playdates, shopping, and doctor appointments.

How Much Do They Cost? (Links included).
Anywhere from $115 and up, depending on sales and what retail location you buy from. I saw on Amazon in March 2016, it has the bundle pack, newborn insert and an ergo baby for $129 on sale instead of $130, here.  I received my Ergo as a baby gift from my mom with my second and then the infant insert as a baby gift from my mom from Target  for $25 at the store. They also have an original Ergo on Amazon  for $119, here and insert for $24, here.  I am sure it depends on location for stores such as Target and Walmart, but I saw for Target online, a bundle for $135.99 for ergo and insert and a target deal $25 gift card when you spend $150 in baby / nursing purchase. I did also see online at Target original ergo carriers for $119 too like Amazon.

Where Can I Learn More About The Ergo and other baby carriers?
I recommend it to anyone interested in learning about babywearing to find or join local baby wearing groups. I tried baby wearing with my first because I received carriers that were or similar to the Evenflo Snugli.  My first was overall a light baby and I remember at 4 months old trying the carrier and my back hurting literally the min I put it on and thinking it was only for preemies, newborns, and really light babies until I met my attached parenting group of moms at the end of my second pregnancy who introduced me to the wonderful world of babywearing when you learn the difference between quality baby carriers vs flimsy ones. That's where I got introduced to the Ergo, Mei Tais, Ring Slings and Woven Wraps that I tried with my second baby and ended up buying all 4. I learned that I love baby wearing with my second baby and now I am excited to reuse it with my third baby and learn even more. Two carriers highly recommended in my baby wearing groups for a soft structure is the Ergo and the Tula. I haven't tried the Tula before, but I am hoping to get one to try with this baby. The only carriers that have been No-No I've learned so far, Baby Bjorn and Evenflo Snugli, because they are not ergonomically correct for baby and they hurt the back,  Moby is not good for bigger babies and the Infantino Comfort Sync Wrap just isn't that good. The newborn pocket is too large. It is also so far the only carrier where baby fussed as I tried to put it on and then cried once it was on, so I put it on and took it off, but was fine with other carriers.  I liked my ring sling, I didn't like all the weight on one shoulder which became uncomfortable to me when my baby passed 6-8 months. It's not something I would wear for a long term outing with an older and / or heavier baby.

Clear Blue Plus Pregnancy Test  with Blue Dye (+ / - ) This is what a negative looks like: Side Note: Blue dyes are often said to more frequently give false positives than pink dye. Some online boards that will tweak (alter) a pregnancy test photo to help individuals identify if the test is a faint positive or indeed negative, often will not do blue dyes.

Frida Mom for Post Laparoscopy Care

My Frida Mom Basket for Post-Laparoscopy Care. Why I Love the Frida Mom Line (Even Beyond Motherhood) One of the things I’ve really come to appreciate is how versatile the Frida Mom line is—not just for new moms, but for anyone recovering from abdominal surgeries, such as laparoscopies for endometriosis. After surgery, comfort and gentle care are everything. That’s where the C-section recovery underwear comes in. Even if you haven’t had a baby, the design makes sense—when you have incisions on your abdomen, you need something soft, high-waisted, and non-restrictive. These disposable underwears are a lifesaver compared to standard disposable Depends. The big difference? You can build your own pad system . Start with the underwear. Add a menstrual pad. Layer on a witch hazel perineal liner, perineal cream, or both. Attach an optional heating pad for cramping. It’s completely customizable depending on what your body needs that day. I also want to mention the liners pack...

My Laparoscopy Recovery Essentials: What’s Actually Helping Me Heal

Disclaimer: Links to all the products I mentioned are included. I am not being paid to promote any of them and do not receive payments. Skin sensitivity may impact your experiences with these products. Recovering from my laparoscopy has been a journey, and honestly, some days are more uncomfortable than others. Over the past week, I’ve found a few products that have made a huge difference in how I feel—both physically and mentally. Here’s what’s been helping me get through it: 1. Body Wash That Feels Safe Before and after surgery, I wanted something gentle that still felt clean. I’ve been using Dove Antibacterial Body Wash , and it’s been perfect. It keeps the incision area clean without stinging or irritating my skin, which is such a relief.  2. Underwear That Actually Works I never thought I’d get excited about disposable underwear, but Frida Mom Disposable C-Section Underwear has been a game-changer. They’re soft, supportive, and don’t press on my stomach—exactly what ...
