My Favorite Strollers

This was gifted to me in July 2013 when I was expecting my 2nd and I bought the Contours second hand locally when I was expecting my 3rd. The Graco one goes with the car seat we purchased for our second child and that we are reusing for our third child. This stroller is not side by side, but front and back. Folds up nicely for the trunk and goes through doors fairly easy. The front has a tray and the back lays all the way down.  I traveled to the airport with my Graco stroller two times and felt it was good for traveling since I was traveling 8 weeks pregnant with 2 kids alone. What I liked is that this stroller lasted three years while using it. It's a double stroller. What I don't like is both seats do not have a child's tray and the seats do not change. As of April 2016, Walmart is selling this stroller on sale for $219.99. You save $50 dollars since the original price is $269.99.

Contours Options Tandem Stroller

Now the Contours brand is my favorite but large. I got this in 2015, after I found out I was expecting my third child. The seats come off and change into 7 different positions. The 2 seats can face each other, face away, face in the same direction forward or backwards. You can use one seat in the front facing away from you and use the back for storage. However, this stroller is larger than the Graco I noticed when getting through doorways and narrow aisles. It does not have trays. Both seats can recline far back. Because its the belly bar that goes across it can make the shopping cart / stroller trays higher instead of low enough that is comfortable for the children. So my travel trays just became used for the car instead of both stroller and car. Also takes more room in the trunk. The seats come off,  so I am also able to dump crumbs off. This one is more expensive, which is why I went to look for someone selling it locally and bought mine for $80. There is a new 2016 Contours Options Elite Tandem Stroller.

Contours 4 in 1 Bliss Stroller

This is another favorite of mine from the Contours brand. No complaints about the product. Best of all, the pieces for the Contours strollers are interchangeable. No way could I part with these strollers. They are the perfect pair to have a large double stroller that can become a single and spacious stroller and just a smaller size single that can be your stroller frame, replaces your umbrella stroller, and turns into a bassinet for baby. The stroller frame is about 14 pounds and it's about 24-25 pounds with the seat according to Amazon's website information. Sometimes I still need a stroller for my toddler who usually wants to walk. He still puts himself down for a nap which is super cute, yet it creates a challenge when I am out because now I have to figure out how to move him while sleeping and allowing him to be able to sleep comfortably. Usually, I put my toddler in the stroller and carry the baby, but there are some days after a few hours of baby wearing, I want to put my baby in the stroller too. So a single only works some of the time. I will have to wait until my toddler is big enough to walk without needing a nap, before using my single more frequently.

Frida Mom for Post Laparoscopy Care

My Frida Mom Basket for Post-Laparoscopy Care. Why I Love the Frida Mom Line (Even Beyond Motherhood) One of the things I’ve really come to appreciate is how versatile the Frida Mom line is—not just for new moms, but for anyone recovering from abdominal surgeries, such as laparoscopies for endometriosis. After surgery, comfort and gentle care are everything. That’s where the C-section recovery underwear comes in. Even if you haven’t had a baby, the design makes sense—when you have incisions on your abdomen, you need something soft, high-waisted, and non-restrictive. These disposable underwears are a lifesaver compared to standard disposable Depends. The big difference? You can build your own pad system . Start with the underwear. Add a menstrual pad. Layer on a witch hazel perineal liner, perineal cream, or both. Attach an optional heating pad for cramping. It’s completely customizable depending on what your body needs that day. I also want to mention the liners pack...

My Laparoscopy Recovery Essentials: What’s Actually Helping Me Heal

Disclaimer: Links to all the products I mentioned are included. I am not being paid to promote any of them and do not receive payments. Skin sensitivity may impact your experiences with these products. Recovering from my laparoscopy has been a journey, and honestly, some days are more uncomfortable than others. Over the past week, I’ve found a few products that have made a huge difference in how I feel—both physically and mentally. Here’s what’s been helping me get through it: 1. Body Wash That Feels Safe Before and after surgery, I wanted something gentle that still felt clean. I’ve been using Dove Antibacterial Body Wash , and it’s been perfect. It keeps the incision area clean without stinging or irritating my skin, which is such a relief.  2. Underwear That Actually Works I never thought I’d get excited about disposable underwear, but Frida Mom Disposable C-Section Underwear has been a game-changer. They’re soft, supportive, and don’t press on my stomach—exactly what ...
