Baby Carriers 2017: A Review On Infantino Baby Carriers

Links included. So I've been trying and using Infantino Baby Carriers since I had my second baby back in 2013. Mostly, because its an affordable brand that can be found in local stores.  A couple of my mommy friends who had high end Mei Tais and other baby carriers were impressed that for 30 something dollars you could get a Mei Tai for an affordable price that worked decently. You could say it built my hope and confience in the Infantino brand.  This was great considering my first experience with Infantino in 2010 was purchasing the Infantino Sling Rider . Infantino's website states it was manufactuered from May 2003-March 2010. This item was thankfully recalled while I was still pregnant with my first baby before I used it. I had bought my carrier second hand. I was still able to mail in the recalled item and Infantino was supposed to give an alternative item. Mine never came, because they ran out of supplies. 1st: Young Children & Activities

I put my daughter in dance classes from ages 3-6. Roughly around 3 years of ballet, 4 months of Hip Hop, and 1 summer of tumbling for probably like 4-6 weeks. Now, this little girl is full of energy and loves to dance all around the house and make up her own songs. She literally never stops moving. However, I encountered problems with her not wanting to go to classes sometimes for the following reasons: 1) She found the classes boring. 2) Other times she was tired, especially if classes fell right after school or if they were in the evenings. 3) Sometimes she just wanted to play at home with her toys or at the park. Here is the kicker, she overall often times enjoyed the classes despite her initial resistance. But I also feel if it is important to her, it's not something I should have to make her go to. I did because we had already paid for it and were preparing for the end of the year recital. After we finished, we have been taking a break. She is asking to go ...

How To Make A Signature On Baby Center (2017)

New to the forum, Baby Center? Here is a picture tutorial of how to make a signature on Baby Center, also known by the acronym, BBC. 1. Go to your profile page. On the right side you should see the words "Edit account settings".  2. Click on it. After you click on it, it showed open to a page. Scroll down until you see Personal Signature and a blank box. 3. Start creating your thread. Tip:   Do not copy and paste your signature. That tends to not work.  I've been a Baby Center member since September 2011. Since that time, I would occasionally try to make a signature and it would never work. I think the issues all the years or at least in recent years is I’ve tried to copy and paste a pre-made signature into the box.  4. Once you have finished  creating your signature, press "Save preferences" at the bottom of the page.  5. If your submission is successful, instead of a blank box you see will see a signature. 6. To edit, you cli...

Breastfeeding & Taking Anti-Thyroid Meds

I am taking a moment to pat myself on the back. Why? Well, why not? I am celebrating this breastfeeding milestone for breastfeeding my little guy to a year and counting! Unlike breastfeeding my other two babies where I encountered common breastfeeding challenges (poor latch and lip tie), I have to deal with something new.  I am dealing with thyroid issues and anti-thyroid meds while breastfeeding.  What a surprise this little guy was with his double ties (lip & tongue). We've only had the tongue revised so far.  And an even bigger surprise my thyroid! For those of you who many not know, when I was just 4 months postpartum I went to the emergency room and the E.R. doctor found my thyroid enlarged. At 6 months postpartum my labs revealed high levels of thyroid antibodies. By 10 months postpartum I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism caused by Graves' Disease. I've taken 2 months worth of anti-thyroid meds (59 pills, because I lost one) and having to work...
