Question: How many kids do you want? Currently, we have 3 kids and we both would like more. Short answer: I grew up as an only child and I found it very lonely. That strongly influenced my desire to have two or more children. Longer answer: By the time I met my husband, I had spent in a few years in our religion and felt drawn to the idea of a big family. My first date with him was like an interview. We directly asked each other what we were were looking for. I told him I was looking for marriage and to have 8 kids. If he wasn’t looking for commitment and having a big family, then there wouldn’t be a second date with me. I wasn’t interested in serial dating and connecting with men who ultimately weren’t looking for something serious.
