Why Divorce?

Hi, it’s Tai, and today, I am going to start off with probably the biggest question that begins this new chapter in my life. Why did I decide on divorce? I’ll start with my choice. After 11.5 years of marriage and 3 children later, I made the painful decision to start the process of separation from my spouse.  It was the second 6-month separation I asked for. I had been in individual counseling since my spouse and I reconciled after the first 6-month separation. I prayed constantly to know if my marriage could be saved. And if it could, should it be saved? To ask if divorce is the right decision. I concluded that it would be better for my marriage to improve if it could. But it did not.  Divorce became my solution to leaving an unhealthy marriage that had made little to no progress in improving. New Beginnings

Pandit, A. (n.d.). Focus on the Good . Don't Give Up World.  https://dontgiveupworld.com/motivational-wallpaper-focus-on-the-good/. Hey, it's Tai! You may know me by my username, Endometriosis Mom. Or Endo Mom for short. Another platform you may recognize me from is Baby Center's community. If you do not know, Endometriosis is a painful and chronic disorder. The cells that grow and shed each month for a woman or girl’s menstrual cycle grow in other areas of the body. My diagnosis age for Endometriosis is 20 years old! I conceived my children in my twenties and started writing my blog to process all the emotions from my diagnosis to the ups and downs of trying to conceive. And my surprising diagnosis of Graves’ disease after the birth of my third child. Now I am in my 30’s and entering a new stage of life. My children are older. They have some unexpected diagnoses of their own. I am also going through a separation from my spouse. And I have this thought of blogging about it....
