I heard that a woman will ovulate on alternating sides each cycle, and the fertility charts match up. I was also wondering if that could affect when you would receive your positive ovulation tests, meaning if when you ovulate on side, do you tend to get a positive ovulation test sooner or later.
I decided to look from my fertility charts when I was trying to conceive my second and while currently trying to conceive a third. I went through my charts to get an idea of what cycles looked to match up before making a chart.
I do not know which side I ovulated for sure. Therefore, I call one side Side A and Side B.

I am also inducing that all of my cycles have currently been while breastfeeding.
1. Breastfeeding could very well be affecting these results and most of my cycles are irregular.
2. Some of the other issues with this theory is user error. We can mistake a close for positive for being positive or be unaware of how many true positives we have if we have multiple positive / positive looking ovulation tests. So we could call too many tests positives.
3. If a woman is missing one her ovaries, this theory would not work for her.
I do not know which side I ovulated for sure. Therefore, I call one side Side A and Side B.
Trying for # 2
Color Code: Side A (Right Ovary) and Side B (Left Ovary). * Starred means maybe didn't ovulate.

Notes:
Side A produces a positive ovulation test on the earlier side than Side B. If I am not mistaken, I think when I went for my first ultrasound during my second pregnancy, the obstetrician pointed out a small cyst (a good kind) to me, which indicated I had ovulated from that ovary. I, of course, wanted to know if that was okay. He gave me a brief explanation of good and bad cysts and how they work with ovulation. Long story short, if I am not mistaken, I think he is said on my 9th period, 6th cycle, trying to conceive, where I became pregnant with my second, I had ovulated on my right side. Assuming it is correct that I ovulated on the right side, I would say side A for this chart would be the right ovary.

Notes:
It would seem that on Side A, I ovulate less than Side B. Going on the history that I may have ovulated on my right side with my second pregnancy, I am going to call Side A in this chart the left ovary. I became pregnant on my 10th cycle, from Side A.
