Diaper Bags

I've had a few baby diaper bags and I am one of those moms who try to pack and be prepared for everything. Extra clothes, check. Medicine kit? Of course! Is there room for Band-aids? Wouldn't think of traveling without a cloth diaper or two. My potty training child needs a few extra bottoms and wipes, as well. Yes, an over stuff diaper bag is usually what I get. But who wants a diaper bag you can't fit anything in, even if its when you don't have the diaper bag you need all that stuff. funny how that often happens to me! My Favorites... Purchase Natural Supplement

Cassava Root Step 3: Purchase Natural Supplement I purchased my Cassava Root ( Cassanovum: Cassava Root & Folic Acid Fertility  Supplement)   from Amazon.com. It is in pill form, looks greenish and contains 30 pills per bottle. If I am not mistaken, the product says this is safe to take while pregnant on their website, double check though. I would personally not continue taking it while pregnant. I would not replace my pre-natal vitamins with this, if you choose to take it during pregnancy, because it only contains 400 mcg of folic acid. It does not contain 800 mcg like most over the counter pre-natals and it does not contain the other vitamins found in your pre-natals, such as A, B, C, or D.  Many of my family members are Caribbean and eat Cassava / Yucca. I read the ingredients of the supplement to my mother, whose family actually grew Cassava in the Islands and it sounds like to her it just contains the Cassava / Yucca, along with the folic acid.  ...

Purchase a Pre-natal Vitamin with High Folic Acid

Cassava Root Step 4: Purchase a  Pre-Natal Vitamin With High Folic Acid Cassanovum: Cassava Root Supplement from Amazon.com Up & Up Pre-natal Vitamins Target Brand from Target Taking the Pre-natal vitamins and the Cassava Root together will equal 1,200 mcg of Folic Acid, since the Cassava Root has 400 mcg of Folic Acid.  As stated in the previous information, the highest over counter pre-natal vitamins contain 800 mcg of  Folic Acid. And prescription pre-natal vitamins, 1 mg = 1,000 mcg. Taking the pre-natal vitamins with the cassava root means you are really consuming, 1.2 mg = 1,200 mcg.  I started off with using Up and Up Target brand pre-natal vitamin that has 800 mcg of Folic Acid, so just a pre-ntal over the counter. However, I have since switched to using Rainbow Light Pre-Natal One Vitamins, this also has 800 mcg of Folic Acid. You can buy whatever brand you want. I am not advocating a specific brand. I have in the past, often c...

Research Natural Supplements

Cassava Roo t  Step 1:  Research Natural Supplements (There are many, these are just a few common ones) Vitex - Suppose to help regulate irregular cycles. Soy Isoflavones - Suppose to be similar to the fertility drug, clomid. Taken to help ovulation and possibly helps lengthen short luteal phases. May help women suffering from PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome). Cassava Root - Suppose to increases fertility and chance for multiples. My husband and I just wanted me to be able to get pregnant for a 3rd time and to have a healthy pregnancy, but twins would be a nice bonus if that happened too. The natural supplement I wanted to try was Cassava Root. Before I could take this supplement, I needed a professional opinion since I was planning on taking it while breastfeeding my second child along with taking Vitamin B6 and pre-natal vitamins. I wanted to make sure it was safe to take while breastfeeding and the two supplements  and my pre-natal vitamins wouldn't can...
