Pomegranate Juice (for Uterine Lining)

Pomegranate Juice helps build Uterine Lining

What Does It Do?
This is a new one I recently heard about, Pomegranate juice helps build uterine lining. It is also said to help sperm count and mobility. Women are supposed to take it from cycle day one until ovulation and drink 1 glass per day. For some women, it could make a menstrual cycle heavier.

Who Should Worry About Thin Uterine Lining?
Those who should be concerned about thin uterine linings are women who are using the fertility drug, Clomid repeatedly. Especially if used 3 cycles in a row. Women who have had a D &C that might have been done incorrectly. Also, women who have been using long term birth control with progestin. Read more: Natural Fertility Info: Thin Uterine Lining. Women who have had one or more miscarriages. Some speculation is that women who have C-sections have thin uterine walls, because of how scar tissue builds up. {Because the cut is nice and thin, it is not as strong as the original wall. With each subsequent c-section, scar tissue builds over a place that is already compromised. Supposedly a doctor will make the ends of each c-section differently because the ends are where the tissue is the weakest. Between the uterus getting stretched out during pregnancy and naturally losing its tone after having children and the c-section (s) doctors tend to say a woman's lining is thin, and the risk is uterine rupture when she goes into labor. This risk of uterine rupture is said to go up with each c-section}.

I have heard breastfeeding as well might thin out uterine lining. A midwife I know said breastfeeding can cause low estrogen levels and low estrogen can cause thin uterine lining. Going hand and hand with a short luteal phase (the egg does not have enough time to implant into the uterine lining properly), I can understand why some breastfeeding women may not become pregnant right away during irregular cycles when their postpartum menstrual has returned. There are also some women who have the opposite problem, they have uterine linings that are too thick. Those who are getting their uterine lining checked are also often those who are undergoing fertility treatments, such as Clomid and / or procedures, such as IVF. Women who have uncomplicated pregnancies with vaginal births without the aid of fertility treatments and / or procedures may not be aware of what their uterine lining would be defined as, normal range, thin or thick unless they had cases of uterine rupture or symptoms and signs associated with thin uterine linings.

How is uterine lining diagnosed?
Doctors have several ways they can tell if a woman has a thin uterine lining, through a pelvic exam, biopsy, or transvaginal ultrasound. So if a woman was curious, I don't think she will know for sure if she has one on her own.

Alternative Forms

If you don't like the taste or can not find Pomegranate Juice or POM brand in your area, there might be an alternative you can try, some of the pomegranate supplements found online. These are a few from Amazon. Some of these bottles do not say that pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should not take, such as other supplements. Even if a product does not, do your research before trying supplements. Also, I do not know how well the juice vs supplements works.

Frida Mom for Post Laparoscopy Care

My Frida Mom Basket for Post-Laparoscopy Care. Why I Love the Frida Mom Line (Even Beyond Motherhood) One of the things I’ve really come to appreciate is how versatile the Frida Mom line is—not just for new moms, but for anyone recovering from abdominal surgeries, such as laparoscopies for endometriosis. After surgery, comfort and gentle care are everything. That’s where the C-section recovery underwear comes in. Even if you haven’t had a baby, the design makes sense—when you have incisions on your abdomen, you need something soft, high-waisted, and non-restrictive. These disposable underwears are a lifesaver compared to standard disposable Depends. The big difference? You can build your own pad system . Start with the underwear. Add a menstrual pad. Layer on a witch hazel perineal liner, perineal cream, or both. Attach an optional heating pad for cramping. It’s completely customizable depending on what your body needs that day. I also want to mention the liners pack...

My Laparoscopy Recovery Essentials: What’s Actually Helping Me Heal

Disclaimer: Links to all the products I mentioned are included. I am not being paid to promote any of them and do not receive payments. Skin sensitivity may impact your experiences with these products. Recovering from my laparoscopy has been a journey, and honestly, some days are more uncomfortable than others. Over the past week, I’ve found a few products that have made a huge difference in how I feel—both physically and mentally. Here’s what’s been helping me get through it: 1. Body Wash That Feels Safe Before and after surgery, I wanted something gentle that still felt clean. I’ve been using Dove Antibacterial Body Wash , and it’s been perfect. It keeps the incision area clean without stinging or irritating my skin, which is such a relief.  2. Underwear That Actually Works I never thought I’d get excited about disposable underwear, but Frida Mom Disposable C-Section Underwear has been a game-changer. They’re soft, supportive, and don’t press on my stomach—exactly what ...
