Ways To Remember Your Angel Baby

Links Included Below. Honoring Your Angel Baby So I have known a few mamas in my online and real life groups that have had miscarriages / losses. And I was looking for ideas for one mama who had a new loss on how she could remember her angel baby. The idea to make this list came about and the reasons some women choose to do some sort of remembrance when she has a loss either through pregnancy or infant loss. Reasons Some May Choose To Do A Remembrance To make sure an angel baby (babies) is remembered  To show how an angel baby has touched the mother's and family's life Ways To Remember Get a Christmas Ornament for your angel baby every year Get a Crocheted Angel or Butterfly from  Angels Of Hope Giving Baby A Name (or unisex name if sex is unknown) Go to a Sweet Pea Remembrance Gathering (for more info, click here )  Grow Flowers - Forget Me Nots Memory Box Plant a Tree - Apple Tree  - Magnolia Tree Keep A Jo...

Sound Machines for Kids

- My Baby Sound Spa Lullaby Sound Machine - I originally bought the My Baby Sound Spa Lullaby sound machine when I was trying to help my first child, a breastfeeding toddler at the time to have an official bedtime routine. We were no longer in the first year or breastfeeding on demand after two years old. I kept breastfeeding her to sleep as the last part of the bedtime routine until I weaned her due to nipple sensitivity during my second pregnancy when she was two and a half years old. The sound machine worked, but over time the projection would break. We bought this particular product twice. After the second time of the projection breaking when we had two children, we decided to go with a different brand. I have seen this at Target in the past, I know this can be purchased at Amazon.com, to see it click here . I noticed on Amazon, some reviewers shared their frustration at how they loved the product until the projector broke.  - Munchkin Nursery Projector & Sou...

My Newborn List: Sleeping Gear (Updated)

Must Haves # 5: Sleeping Gear ---- April 12, 2019 Update: Fisher-Price has recalled Rock n Plays. ---- Fisher-Price Newborn Rock n Play Sleeper I bought the manual Fisher Price Rock n Play second hand with my second child, that I used a couple of times. With my third baby, I often set up the manual Rock n Play in my master bathroom. Anytime the baby is asleep, I will place baby in the Rock n Play. It allows  me to take a shower or brush my teeth, and I can keep an eye on baby and have my baby in the same room while my other children are usually playing or sleeping.  Because of the fold up design, I can easily move it from room to room, so if I am doing laundry, I can move this to the laundry room and keep an eye on baby.  My third baby so far has been the only baby I could really lay in the rock in play asleep and stay asleep for a while so far. Then I received the automatic fisher price rock n play sleeper as a baby gift from family and my husband and I wo...

Twin Baby Positions

When talking about delivery for twins,  this also brings up the topic of twin positions before delivery and the different scenarios, mothers expecting twins can encounter.  The Fit Pregnancy article, Two in the Oven:  Facts about twin pregnancies that you might not know  states, " The twin closest to his or her mother's cervix is called Baby A. In 75% of cases Baby A is head down and Baby B is either head down or breached. Sometimes Baby A is born vaginally and Baby B is delivered through a C-Section because Baby B is breached or shows signs of distress from going through two rounds of uterine contractions (Two in the Oven).  In Labor and Birth with Twins:  There are a few things to be aware of when you're Expecting Multiple Babies , "The position of your baby largely determines what kind of birth you will have - vaginal or cesarean. About 40% of twins are both head down and 30% see the first baby, Baby A head down and the second baby, Baby B breache...

What percentage of twin pregnancies result in c-sections?

The Fit Pregnancy article, Two in the Oven: Facts about twin pregnancies that you might not know states, "Though vaginal delivery is an option for women expecting twins, you are most likely to deliver by c-section than if you were having one baby. TTC # 4 Stash

The saying goes, the early bird catches the worm. I like to prepare ahead of time to have most of what I need to start trying to conceive since the products can be so expensive when you're buying as you go. Some staples in my trying to conceive stash are pre-seed and Instead Soft Cups. I've used them since trying to conceive my second and third child. Also, ovulation tests. I will never try to conceive without them again. I would recommend these three products to any women when trying to conceive!  As far as favorites, my favorite home pregnancy tests are First Response, Early Response brand (FRER) and Clear Blue Digital Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator. When it comes to ovulation prediction kits (OPKs) I do not really have a favorite. I prefer to buy big packs of ovulation test strips, such as Wondfos or Easy @ Home brands from Amazon or E-bay for an inexpensive amount of money and use digital ovulation tests to confirm what I think are positive lines on the ovulation...

Trying To Conceive with Type 2 Diabetes

What is Type 2 Diabetes? According to American Diabetes Association, "Diabetes causes the blood sugar levels in the body to rise higher than normal, also called hyperglycemia. In Type 2 Diabetes, insulin is not used properly, and a person may not know they have it in the beginning because the pancreas will make extra insulin and try to correct the problem. Eventually, the pancreas will not be able to make enough insulin or keep blood sugar levels normal" (Type 2). Trying To Conceive With Metformin According to conceiveeasy.com, "Metformin is also used to help women with PCOS conceive easier. Even for women who are not diabetic, metformin can help lower insulin levels in order to regulate a woman's menstrual cycle. Metformin has been proven to help both women who are overweight and women who have normal body mass index levels. Women with PCOS tend to have elevated insulin levels and metformin helps  balance insulin levels" (Null). Pre-Pregnancy Che...

Other Car Seats I Like

Graco 4ever All in One Carseat This is the convertible I would like to buy for my 3rd baby. To buy this seat, click  here .  I really like that this seat grows with your child and saves you from buying all 3 kinds: infant, convertible, and booster. My only con is how expensive the price is, which has nothing to do with the function and quality of this car seat. Graco Smart Seat All In One Car Seat This is one I am considering. To buy this seat, click  here.  One reason I like this car seat is that it comes with a base for rear and front use, with a one-time installation. It is standard that infant car seats come with a base and can use them if you like, but not normally convertibles and all in one type car seats. This is a feature I am excited to see and hope more brands will be adding this or at least including it as an option you can use. It is a bulky looking seat, but it looks very comfortable to me.
