TTC # 4 Stash

The saying goes, the early bird catches the worm. I like to prepare ahead of time to have most of what I need to start trying to conceive since the products can be so expensive when you're buying as you go. Some staples in my trying to conceive stash are pre-seed and Instead Soft Cups. I've used them since trying to conceive my second and third child. Also, ovulation tests. I will never try to conceive without them again. I would recommend these three products to any women when trying to conceive!

As far as favorites, my favorite home pregnancy tests are First Response, Early Response brand (FRER) and Clear Blue Digital Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator. When it comes to ovulation prediction kits (OPKs) I do not really have a favorite. I prefer to buy big packs of ovulation test strips, such as Wondfos or Easy @ Home brands from Amazon or E-bay for an inexpensive amount of money and use digital ovulation tests to confirm what I think are positive lines on the ovulation test strips. I absolutely love my Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor, the best $60 I ever spent on E-bay!

I am 7 months postpartum and I am starting to build a trying to conceive stash for a time where I will hopefully be able to conceive a fourth child. The first picture is two new purchases I made: The Clear Blue Advanced Fertility Monitor and The OvaCue Fertility Monitor. The second photo shows what has mostly been left over from my stash when I was trying to conceive my third child: Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor and testing sticks, digital ovulation test holders. As for what is new in the second photo: I purchased a dollar store pregnancy test. The Wal-Mart .88 cents pregnancy test and the dollar store pregnancy and ovulation tests are good when you need something quick for right now while waiting for your online orders or an extra to retest. The third photo is what was left over from my old stash of Instead soft cups (purple package) and Pre-seed lubricant applicators. I don't always use them, so I have a ton left. The fourth photo is a new purchase of First Response, Early Response (FRER) brand pregnancy tests. This one is called Rapid Results test and claims to give results in 1 minute. I can't wait to use this one, but I will definitely be saving it for when I really feel like I could be pregnant.  I purchased this pack from a local target. The original price was $8.99 or rounded to $9, with a use now $3 dollars off coupon. So I paid $5.99 or rounded to $6 dollars, about 66% off.
And for my final October purchase, I decided to try the new Kinsa Smart Thermometer. The only immediate con I notice is where the point is. With doing my basal body temperature I prefer it to be displayed such as 98.61, rather than 98.6. *I do not recommend using for a BBT thermometer.

I am 10 months postpartum. To bring in the new year I added a couple of apps. The first a contraction timer. The second one is the fertility friend app.

Clear Blue Plus Pregnancy Test (Blue Dye)

Clear Blue Plus Pregnancy Test  with Blue Dye (+ / - ) This is what a negative looks like: Side Note: Blue dyes are often said to more frequently give false positives than pink dye. Some online boards that will tweak (alter) a pregnancy test photo to help individuals identify if the test is a faint positive or indeed negative, often will not do blue dyes.

Frida Mom for Post Laparoscopy Care

My Frida Mom Basket for Post-Laparoscopy Care. Why I Love the Frida Mom Line (Even Beyond Motherhood) One of the things I’ve really come to appreciate is how versatile the Frida Mom line is—not just for new moms, but for anyone recovering from abdominal surgeries, such as laparoscopies for endometriosis. After surgery, comfort and gentle care are everything. That’s where the C-section recovery underwear comes in. Even if you haven’t had a baby, the design makes sense—when you have incisions on your abdomen, you need something soft, high-waisted, and non-restrictive. These disposable underwears are a lifesaver compared to standard disposable Depends. The big difference? You can build your own pad system . Start with the underwear. Add a menstrual pad. Layer on a witch hazel perineal liner, perineal cream, or both. Attach an optional heating pad for cramping. It’s completely customizable depending on what your body needs that day. I also want to mention the liners pack...

My Laparoscopy Recovery Essentials: What’s Actually Helping Me Heal

Disclaimer: Links to all the products I mentioned are included. I am not being paid to promote any of them and do not receive payments. Skin sensitivity may impact your experiences with these products. Recovering from my laparoscopy has been a journey, and honestly, some days are more uncomfortable than others. Over the past week, I’ve found a few products that have made a huge difference in how I feel—both physically and mentally. Here’s what’s been helping me get through it: 1. Body Wash That Feels Safe Before and after surgery, I wanted something gentle that still felt clean. I’ve been using Dove Antibacterial Body Wash , and it’s been perfect. It keeps the incision area clean without stinging or irritating my skin, which is such a relief.  2. Underwear That Actually Works I never thought I’d get excited about disposable underwear, but Frida Mom Disposable C-Section Underwear has been a game-changer. They’re soft, supportive, and don’t press on my stomach—exactly what ...
