Poetry Favorites (Updated)

So I'm taking an English Poetry class. By now if you have read my blog, you've discovered yet another one of my secrets: I am a writer. For the amount of stuff I put into my blog, you would have to believe I must enjoy some amount of writing. Besides the obvious of learning about writing poetry in a poetry class, it helps strengthen the writing through peer critique and teaches how to perform poetry for an audience. This class has also introduced me to the world of poetry slams and some of the talented poets who perform them. I have decided to share some of these poets who I until this semester I had no idea existed, but glad I know about them now! I do apologize if you find any of the poems inappropriate. I will try to flag if there is any poems that some people might find disturbing, i.e. some profanity,  inappropriate language / content.
