Cassava Root Review Chart

~ Click on photo for icon to enlarge ~ This graph was created by simply reading all 27 reviews at the time on Amazon and narrowing down the "verified purchase" reviewers responses into the following 5 categories: negative side effects (who most likely discontinued using the product), still trying, pregnant (no specifics) meaning they did not say whether it was a singleton or multiples pregnancy and twin pregnancy. Non verified purchase reviews or reviews that did not fall into this category, such as people who just bought it but haven't tried it yet were not included. That is why the graph only consists of 17 responses. No one indicated in the 27 reviews that I read that they were pregnant with twins, while or after using the product.

My Experience with POM

Where Did I Purchase It? I bought Pom (Pomegranate) Juice from Costco, a store in the United States. Another store in the United States that sell it is Wal-Mart. However, Pomegranate Juice can be purchased on Amazon.com, such as  Lakewood Pure Pomegranate Juice from Amazon .  < That is an active link that will take you to Amazon.  It is a product that is eligible to be used with Amazon Prime membership or Free Super Shipping with regular membership.   How Much Juice? The brand I am currently using has 60 fluid ounces per container. While waiting for my postpartum menstrual after the birth of my 2nd child,  I started drinking .5 - 2 cups a day at 9.5 months postpartum. How does it taste? It honestly tastes similar to drinking pure cranberry juice (not the sweet cocktail). It's not too bad drinking it, but can sometimes leave a little bit of that after taste. Why  Am I Taking It?   I have heard ...

Pomegranate Juice (for Uterine Lining)

Pomegranate Juice helps build Uterine Lining What Does It Do?  This is a new one I recently heard about, Pomegranate juice helps build uterine lining. It is also said to help sperm count and mobility. Women are supposed to take it from cycle day one until ovulation and drink 1 glass per day. For some women, it could make a menstrual cycle heavier. Who Should Worry About Thin Uterine Lining? Those who should be concerned about thin uterine linings are women who are using the fertility drug, Clomid repeatedly. Especially if used 3 cycles in a row. Women who have had a D &C that might have been done incorrectly. Also, women who have been using long term birth control with progestin. Read more:  Natural Fertility Info: Thin Uterine Lining . Women who have had one or more miscarriages. Some speculation is that women who have C-sections have thin uterine walls, because of how scar tissue builds up. {Because the cut is nice and thin, it is...

Amber Teething Necklaces

My 2nd teething I was pretty unsure about the amber teething necklaces. Is it luck or a fluke that "they" seem to work and not many out right say they work 100% when I have asked other moms who use them. They answer maybe its the necklaces or my kids don't teeth that bad / good teethers. All I can say is try it, you might like it. We bought ours in March 2014 when our 2nd started teething. He had been fussy and drooling for months, but now his teeth were coming and he could not be comforted. I bought it in the middle of the night while he was crying and I was trying to rock and nurse him while my husband went out to the store to by some more infant Motrin. We had finished what was in the house (that was after we moved into our new house and hadn't organized all of our medicines to clearly see what we were out of) and all we had was baby orajel, which I discovered only last secs, not long lasting.  Any who, the necklace was shipped from Amazon in two day...

Examples of Postpartum Menstrual Age

My Example Age Baby # Postpartum Menstrual Me 23 1 17 months postpartum 25 2 Almost 11 months postpartum Side Notes: Names have been changed to protect the identity of these mothers who participated. Also the age in the chart is not the age pregnancy occurred or birth of baby, but age that mothers were when postpartum returned. This can be very different for some women. Referring to my example above, I was 20 years old, a little over a month before my 21st birthday when I became pregnant with my 1st. In  the 1st trimester of my pregnancy, I turned 21 years old, which is the age I was when my baby was born. When my first postpartum came at 17 months postpartum, I was 23 years old - to give you an idea how age of postpartum menstrual returning can be different from pregnancy and birth of baby. What Might Help Bring Back Postpartum Menstrual

Most moms go about discovering what combinations are necessary to bring their postpartum menstrual back by waiting for it to come naturally, weaning from breastfeeding, reducing nursing sessions,  achieving the milestone of nursling sleeping through the night or  nursling sleeping longer through the night with less waking up to nurse. Some may use natural supplements, such as vitex or fertility meds to give their hormones the extra push. Some Techniques from Nursing Mothers Notes: Names * have been changed to protect the mother's identities. These stories were shared from my online breastfeeding group. Postpartum Menstrual & Mothers Age

A mom from one of my breastfeeding groups asked the following question: Do you think that (in general), it takes longer for a postpartum menstrual to show up as we get older/with each subsequent pregnancy? I imagine the stories are incredibly varied, I'm just curious if there is a trend. - M Examples of Postpartum Menstrual Ages Findings: Although there are going to be variations because every woman's situation with breastfeeding, age, genetics, what they did or did not do to get their postpartum menstrual back and their child's temperament is going to be different. However, it does seem some mothers have gotten their postpartum menstrual later with each subsequent pregnancy so far in my examples. And that could be a mere coincidence that the different women who volunteered to share this information received their postpartum menstrual later after subsequent pregnancies, there could be some women out there who...

Close Pregnancies Need More Iron

Also, if you plan on having pregnancies close together, make sure to take an iron supplement and / or consume a diet rich in iron and Vitamin C to prevent anemia. Experts recommend taking at least 27 mg of iron each day for women trying to conceive and women who are pregnant. Having two or more pregnancies close together can mean starting off your pregnancy without sufficient stores of iron.  It is often recommended that a woman's body needs 18 - 23 months between birth and subsequent conception. If another child is conceived before 18 months, there are risks of premature birth, low birth weights, and newborn death ( Close Pregnancies Increase Risks) .
