There are some websites, such as Kelly Mom that suggests most things are compatible with breastfeeding, including taking clomid. Some of the concerns potential breastfeeding users had were if it would affect their milk supply. Some other research I found on safety for the product was recommended that clomid does not affect older babies / toddlers who are nursing 1-2x a day and spacing the clomid pill and feeding by 6 hours. While other research indicated that most doctors did not recommend taking it while breastfeeding.
Web Md also says, "Soy protein is LIKELY SAFE to be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding when consumed in amounts normally found in food. However, soy may be POSSIBLY UNSAFE when used during pregnancy in medicinal amounts. Higher doses during pregnancy might harm development of the baby. Not enough is known about the safety of higher doses during breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid larger doses."
